Lobster Rolls were delicious. Best we’ve had! Front counter service was excellent. The dipping sauce for the fries was good as well! Tasted like BBQ Zax sauce. Market pricing is expensive for the lobster rolls but it’s worth it.
This is by far the BEST lobster roll in the whole area! We even had the little neck clams too, and they were perfect! We will be back!
This is a smaller, dine in restaurant. There are about 6 tables inside to eat at. When I arrived all the tables were taken and they seemed busy, but it was still clean and organized. The men's restroom was also very clean and maintained. There were only 2 employees, a male cook and a female working the counter. Husband and wife, I believe. The lady was very friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 lobster rolls and 2 orders of the mahi mahi tacos? I think not, more like burritos. The tacos came with fries and a cup of coleslaw. Each order of tacos comes with 2 and they are good sized pieces of fish. They were fresh, well seasoned and for me a lot of food. Luckily when we were done ordering our food a table became available and we were able to eat there. The lady working the counter took our order and then cleaned the table for us before we sat down. Over all it was a very good experience. I would definitely go back and I would recommend this place to others.
I’m still dreaming of the food we had there. We had the lobster roll hot and the shrimp po boy & it was delicious! Extra surprise was how good the onion rings were! Highly recommend!
My wife, our newborn, and I had a enjoyable experience at this place in Indian Shores. The fried shrimp with French fries were crisp and satisfying, the grilled garlic shrimp roll was fresh, flavorful, and generously filled, and the small pod of chowder was rich and well-balanced. All the ingredients were exceptionally fresh. If you’re looking for high-quality seafood in a no-frills, laid-back setting, this is the place to go.
We visited DJs Clam Shack because a few locals raved about it, and we were not disappointed! My husband ordered the seafood trio (shrimp, crab cakes, and fish) with fries and coleslaw. I ordered the Famous Maine lobster roll with fries and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!
Lobster roll was amazing! So was clam chowder. Loved the shrimp tacos, the garlic shrimp roll and the shrimp po boy. The Ipswich clams were very good but probably wouldn’t get those next time. Went back for a second bowl of clam chowder because the first was so good. Very friendly service.
DJ’s Clam Shack exceeded all expectations. I had the overstuffed lobster roll and a cup of clam chowder, and let me tell you - the chowder was the best I’ve ever had. And I’m from Boston, where seafood is king. The depth of flavor was unreal, rich and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the customer service was fantastic; the gentleman assisting me was kind, welcoming, with a great sense of humor. If you’re looking for incredible seafood and a great dining experience, this place is a must visit.
